Designed for a residential home in Scottsdale, Arizona, the Chroma Cellar showcases Heritage Vine's ability to create tailor-made, contemporary wine cellars even in compact spaces. This elegant cellar may be smaller in size, but it incorporates bold design elements and cutting-edge technology to craft a truly unique storage solution.
The Vision
The client wanted to convert a small desk niche adjacent to the kitchen into a modern wine cellar, with a design that would blend seamlessly into the existing kitchen décor. The Heritage Vine team chose materials that mirrored the kitchen’s aesthetic, such as a background panel with a linen-like texture and golden bronze metal pins. This created a cohesive and stylish extension of the space.

The Challenge
The primary challenge during construction was a lack of attic space for the originally planned cooling unit. Once construction began, we discovered that a firewall blocked access to the attic, requiring us to pivot quickly and select a different cooling solution.
Masterful Execution
Heritage Vine expertly navigated the challenges presented by the space, creating a stunning wine cellar that balances form and function. The cellar's contemporary aesthetic is elevated by LED backlighting, which adds a dynamic element to the design. The acrylic shelves in the center are backlit to create an eye-catching display, giving the cellar a modern flair. The color-changing LED lights offer a variety of colors, making it a striking conversation piece for the homeowner's guests.
